Age Gate / Alcohol Sale Policy

Controls how POS handles alcohol and age-restricted products. This module remains local-only: no DMV/AAMVA/official validation provider and no raw barcode storage requirement.

Current: Block Missing Or Expired Id

Accept Unexpired Profile ID Verification

Default. If a customer profile has a verified, unexpired ID and no rescan is required, POS can allow payment for age-restricted items.

Require Manager Review Every Age-Restricted Sale

Every alcohol/age-restricted sale requires manager credential override, even if the profile is verified.

Require Fresh Scan / Check Every Age-Restricted Sale

For stricter business/legal policy. POS blocks until a manager credential override confirms a fresh local ID check.

Block Missing or Expired ID

Allows verified current profiles, but blocks missing, unverified, expired, rescan-required, or underage profiles.
